I just flip the front sprocket to get +6mm offset AND have a special rear sprocket hub to move the rear sprocket -9mm closer to the 180mm tyre (the Kawasaki ZX-9R rear wheel has the sprocket pretty much away from the tyre).

The Yamaha FZR 1000 swingarm has a pivot shaft to rear axle c/c of 510mm, while the CBX is 480mm. This results in an approx. 25 mm increased wheel base for an unloaded chassie.

Andreas, what dimensions does the Yamaha XJR 1300 swingarm have(before any modifications to fit the CBX)?

1. C/C between axles?
2. Inner width for the rear wheel?
3. Outer width over bearing end caps at pivot shaft?
4. Pivot shaft diameter?

Then... lets steer back to footrests and plates again... :-)

I have slight track offset maybe 4mm to the right because I did not found more space in the drive damper.
Swing arm of prolink is around 40mm longer due to longer wheelbase.

1. 545mm tensioner totally in
2. enough safety space for effective 191mm wide 200/55 ZR 17 tire
3. original inner needle bearing dia. 24,97mm
4. don´t know the original number, I gave the swing arm with pivot axle to Emil Schwarz https://emilschwarz.de/
It came back with perfect fit and free of play. Same with the steering bearings :thumupp:

Thanks for info Andreas,

I actually wanted to know the dimensions of the XJR 1300 swingarm before any modifications for CBX so I could compare with my FZR 1000 unit.

Over here viewtopic.php?f=102&t=12689 you can see how I modified the FZR 1000 swingarm to fit my twin shock.

A picture to show what I mean.
Swingarm Dimensions.jpg

In the end, I think that I would have passed the XJR 1300 swingarm anyway since it is already 35mm longer than the FZR 1000 and a full
65mm longer than OEM twin shock!
