2008 C2C2C or Dan's coming to visit (hide the children)

Post by cbxtacy »

Next fall. We're discussing things to do. Maybe a 100ccc. That's Iron Butt for coast to coast to coast in under 100 hours. Anyone else (Terry)? Me and Dan be on our X's. The motorcycle. Anything else is cheating. Unless Pope rides a Pope.

We could do San Diego to Jacksonville to San Jose just in case we have to help Terry get home?

Is riding an X mandatory? If not and if you give me enough notice, I would do the return part from E to W with you, have Cindy fly out to CA, pick her up there and take our time to ride back East.

We might ridicule anyone not on a CBX during every moment we're not riding, getting gas, eating, going to the bathroom, or sleeping Mike. And if anyone wants to do half the trip that's fine with us. Or try to meet us somewhere on the trip. It shouldn't be hard to spot two fat guys on '82 CBX's hauling ass down the road.

If Louis promises to sell me a low mileage motor for my '81 for $800.- after the trip, I will ride it. I would allow him to place a sticker:
clearly usedcbxparts.com visible on each saddlebag for the round trip. Imagine the exposure he would get

You are allowed to ridicule all you want, if you can - over your aching backs, inflamed wrists, stiff knees and sore shoulders - while I jump off my BMW fresh and relaxed. 8)
