World of Wheels

Post by uwonamos »

I was coaxed into putting my CBX in the world of wheels auto & bike show when it came through town. Since there were'nt any other antique japanese bikes for the class I was put in with all the modern sport bikes, Hayabusas, gsxrs, triumphs etc.

How does the phrase go?
"It ain't braggin' if you can back it up"
Your beauty certainly backs it up against ALL bikes, in my opinion.
Congratulations.

Hi Dan

I have a different view on it I guess.

My feeling is you simply made the best balanced CBX custom ever......period....and starting here puts your bike in an unique category for me.

I want to be kept up to date on what you are doing with this bike, the shows you attend, rides you go on, how the bike handles, what if anything you think needs fixing/adjusted/modified, how it compares to other bikes on group rides...........on an on.

Waiting for a CBX like you made for thirty years and then being kept sorta in the dark about what is happening with you and the bike over the years is the opposite of what I want. I want your updates and pix because this allows me/us to share this very special CBX a bit with you...........so keep the updates coming......

Congratulations Dan. That is the most beautiful CBX I've seen. You have truly captured the heart of what I believe the CBX was designed for. It really showcases the motor and brings the racing heritage through. The subtle paint scheme is just awesome!

It would be great to hear about the mods that you've done. It would sure help the rest of us!!!

Very impressive!

I have to agree with everyone else..............your CBX is the most beautiful X ever! After I first saw yours I had to have one! I'm nearing the end of my build on mine. It's been a lot of work and a few $$$ for sure. Although it's my labor and work, ALL the credit and compliments I may receive will go to you! Your name will be the first thing I mention! I hate copying someone else's ideas but how do you improve on perfection? Your X is PERFECT! You are my hero! NICE!!!!!
