Hi DSZ1 ! I do miss Vintage days, seems so long ago already...
I put some more pics in the photo album (for those of you who don't know where it is, go to the top of the page in the blue section on the very left is a field CBX Photos), including a shot of the engine of Chris Carr's record streamliner built by Dennis Manning. This thing is made from scratch!! Not a souped up stock motor.

BTW: The first prize for sound did not go to the BSA, as reported there. It went to a CB350 racer. After checking the list of winners, it seems they switched most, if not all around. I know for a fact, that the 1973 Kawasaki Z1 won first and the 1972 H1C came in second. Same in one of the European classes, the Mondial won over the Zuendapp KS601.
