DONE and done 1980

This garage find close to my home ended up being a tuff three year project.when I found the bike my wife Ruth was in the pacific on a navy missile support ship as a nurse and I phoned her about getting it and waited until she could call me back with the affirmative. Then COVID hit and my wife shipped out to New Jersey to help replace sick nurses and was gone again I worked on it hit and mis as the progress waned, which you can see here on several different threads. Well I finally finished and rode it. I need to replace the front tire and install the new seat cover yet but she rides nice. I think she’s better than my 79 was, but that’s my opinion… some more then and now pics

A long process over. Knowing the original owner bought this in 1980 and died just after licensing it in 1984, ridding it again since spending 38 years in a back corner of a crowded garage was thrill8ng! Now to put some miles on this one!
I can’t wait to ride it over and show the original owners wife what his old CBX looks like now.
